MLM Network Marketing Success | Realistic Expectations and Goals
If you're in the process of building your MLM Network Marketing business, it's important to have expectations and goals.
Unfortunately, many are lead to believe that this business is "easy and anyone can do it."
Keeping your goals and expectations realistic, as they pertain to your current situation, is very important to do.
In doing so you will keep yourself focused and avoid the urge to compare your MLM Network Marketing success, or lack thereof, with others in your company or in the industry.
Hopefully this little lesson from the Daily OM will help you in doing just that!
Financial Naivete
You may realize today that you have a tendency toward rather unrealistic expectations when it comes to business and financial decisions, which could leave you feeling naïve. Or perhaps you could find yourself suddenly realizing the impracticality of a choice that seemed so perfect earlier. When we choose the heights of the goals we would like to reach, it is good to remove all belief in limitations. Because we create our reality with our beliefs, it is important to let ourselves have the freedom to imagine whatever gives us a sense of excitement and anticipation. With that positive energy working for us, we can then look for the realistic steps that will take us in the right direction. By combining your unlimited imagination with practical steps today, you wisely work toward your goals.
We are only able to see a small percentage of the possibilities available to us from our vantage point at any given time. But when we trust the universe to guide us, we know that there is a place for ambitious visions that seem unrealistic as well as for the possibility of actually achieving them. For example if our ardent desire is to be a rock star, we first need to take the steps of learning how to play and perform music and getting the experience necessary. Today by accepting that life requires both big idealistic dreams and small realistic steps, you strike the balance necessary to create them

MLM Network Marketing Success | Leadership Plain and Simple
In order to have any kind of Sucess in MLM Network Marketing you must develop strong Leadership skills. The reason being, if you want mlm network marketing success, you will be leading a team of 10, 20, 100, 1000 or perhaps even 10,000+ people.
Teams need leaders. Some people are born knowing how to lead, but most have to develop those skills over time.
Unfortunately, many people get into a position of leadership in their MLM Network Marketing business and either:
1. Don't know what they're doing and, at a certain point, that becomes crystal clear to the people who are the "followers"
or
2. Greed and Ego get in their way and they alienate all those around them.
In order to become a leader, in any organization, MLM Network Marketing or not, the most effective leaders have the following four character traits.
Vision
Effective leaders have a clear vision of where they are going and how these goals will be accomplished, they have a plan.
A vision can also be known as your "why".
A "Why" is what drives you to keep going in this business, even when the going gets tough.
Some examples of "why's" are:
you want to wake up every morning at the time of your choosing
you want to travel the world
you want to make a difference in this world and start or support your favorite charity
you want to spend more time with your family
Everyone has their own reasons for getting involved in this business. Your part is to sit down in a quiet place and figure out what your reasons are.
People follow leaders who know where they are going because they instictively know those people can help them get where they want to be.
Courage
It has been said, by the late, great Earl Nightingale that the opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.
Think about that for a minute.....conformity.
Think about the great leaders, the "non-conformists". In order to be a leader you have to have the vision that no one else has, then have the courage to go out there and get it, no matter what anyone else says!
Remember this the next time you hit a road block, be a "non-conformist", be a leader and keep going anyway.
Integrity
Say what you mean and mean what you say....pretty simple.
Even if what you have to say isn't what others may want to hear. The truth is the truth.
When those around you start losing faith in your integrity, especially in MLM Network Marketing, watch out because this business is based on trust and relationships.
If you don't have integrity you can fool people for a little while, but, eventually the truth comes to light. That's when organizations can crumble in the blink of an eye.
Perserverance
All the three previous characteristics can be found in perserverance.
If there is no vision you will never perservere.
No courage, how will you ever perservere?
Lack of integrity, people will never join you in your MLM Network Marketing business.
The combination of these three traits will lead you to perservere and true leaders always perservere, they never quit.
There may be some setbacks along the way, but the true leaders get up, brush themselves off and keep going because they have the vision, they have the courage, they have the integrity and, of course, they have the perserverence.
Think back to the true leaders you have followed in your life. Identify these characteristics in them and start living you life accordingly.
By developing these four leaderships charcteristics, and becoming the leader your organization will want to emulate and follow, you will find yourself on the path to mlm network marketing success.

MLM Training | Tip of the Day
In many types of MLM Training you will hear much talk of goals and goal setting. The following quote pertains to goals and is one that I find very true and powerful.
"The victory of success is half won when one gains the habit of setting goals and achieving them. Even the most tedious chore will become endurable as you parade through each day convinced that every task, no matter how menial or boring, brings you closer to achieving your dreams."

One very important habit for MLM Success, albiet any success, is small attainable goals. I've seen many people set very high goals, but then become overwhelmed because there was no path for them to actually attain those goals.
It's the small, daily, almost boring steps that one takes everyday which will ultimately bring success. As my Mother would tell me growing up;
"Suzanne, the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step".
Then, it's the constant, putting one foot in front of the other, that eventually gets you to where you want to go.
The Problem with MLM Network MarketingTraining
When you attend the MLM training seminars put on by your company or heavy hitters, you'll hear talk of dreaming big, thinking like millionaires, etc.
That's all well and good, but there needs to be a process in place where you can break that dream down to the small, tiny steps you must take each day in order to achieve that success.
Many times, after such trainings, distributors come home all pumped up, ready to set the world on fire, but have no specific plan to achieve that MLM success. This is where the problems start.
Baby Steps
You must have set out, small attainable goals which you can achieve on a daily basis. Goals in which you are moving yourself forward ever so slightly, but forward nonetheless. This is not fancy or glamorous, but it will get you to where you want to go.
Goals, or making a commitment to, advertising your business, blogging more frequently, or however your company allows you to find more mlm leads will work very effectively.
After all, it all comes down to finding people to talk to, building a relationship built on trust and mutual respect and then seeing if there is a fit when it comes to your business or products.
Next time you are at a MLM Training seminar, see if you can take those huge goals and break them into little bitty pieces.
Then, that type of MLM Training has a much better chance of bringing you MLM Network Marketing Success!
