MLM Organization | I Didn't Read my MLM Contract!

I found the following post on Brenda Bunney's MLM Blog. It give some good solid info on what to look for, and avoid, in a MLM Organization contract. If you want to be Successful in MLM, this is important information, so read on.

The Policies and Procedures set forth by an MLM organization is your contract. If you sign it, be prepared to agree to all that is addressed within. How do you know your MLM company management has integrity?

Read the free ebook “Success In 10 Steps” for free training and tips on how to recognize integrity in your MLM company.

Yes, all MLM companies must have a way to make required changes that may be required by the state or federal government. Laws vary from state to state.

Does your MLM contract contain the following?

1) Ongoing requirements that will never let you retire i.e. (5 retail receipts per month, regular contact and training responsibilities for your MLM organization)

2) Statements allowing the MLM organization to cancel your contract at any time without cause.

3) Monthly sales requirements that if not met, the contract is void?

The above three items are just examples of policies I have found in various MLM organizations that show a lack of integrity among top management.

There is a combination of items all potential distributors may research to assure themselves as much as possible that their MLM company management will operate with integrity regarding the distributors.

The free ebook “Success In 10 Steps” provides training for those interested in a MLM organization home verses one stop in a string of disappointing ventures.

MLM Success | Do NOT Approach Friends and Family!

*********************************************************************************************
Jill goes totally against the tide in this article explaining why approaching friends and family does't work and isn't duplicatable in MLM.

*********************************************************************************************

Yes, you read that correctly. Do NOT approach family and friends when you are starting a new home based business. Unfortunately, this is not what is taught by most of these types of companies.

The Dreaded List Of Family & Friends

Most home based business have you create a list of friends and family to get your business started. Well, I don't know about you, but I would have rather walked across hot burning coals than to turn to my friends and family to start building my customer list.

Now don't get me wrong, I loved my products but I didn't want my company built on sympathy purchases. You know, those purchases one make just because you don't want to hurt someone's feeling.

The Sympathy Purchase
Find the cheapest item possible.
Purchase it.
Do not spend a bunch of money.

How To Build Your Home Based Business Without Approaching Family And Friends

First, understand that most home based businesses will take time to build. Stay away from the instant, get rich, make money in your sleep programs. They don't work.

The best way to never have to approach your family and friends is to focus on investing your valuable time with a home based business that has a duplicatable program.

The Duplicatable Program

Why is duplication important?

Well, I remember with the first home based business (I'm not with them anymore) the tools I had to build my business was a DVD video that was full of hype, a worksheet to list friends and family, and a powerpoint presentation for a notebook presentation.

Wow! These tools did not work for me and they were not working for the majority of the people in the company.

It wasn't until later that I discovered that there are home based businesses out there that have real tools that worked.

For example, online tools (not your business website) that attract customers for you. Interactive training calls where you can learn how to be totally non-threatening and learn how to spot a person's personality type within 1-2 minutes on the phone. Resource guides that give you tested, proven, successful scripts and step-by-step how to instructions.

When there's a duplicatable system, it is easy to plug in and start building without approaching friends and family.

MLM Success Tip | Link and Grow Rich!

Lots of people I talk to want to know how to drive people to their website. Here's a fantastic article from Terry Montague's (aka Monte) blog on exactly how to do that!

*********************************************************************************************

So you have your website published and because of your well-thought out verbage, meta tags and html coding you're confident and secure in your knowledge that soon the search engine spiders will be swarming to your site like they were hunting flies in a virtual web. But despite your best efforts, are you not getting the results you'd hoped for?

Why not throw out some bait?

Nothing changes if nothing changes

The more often your site content changes, the more often the search engine spiders will drop in for a visit. Depending on your product or service, your business site may not require revisions on a regular basis. This means that it may be three months or more between visits to your site to index it. This is a good reason to change you page content with some frequency. If you have daily content revisions, it shouldn't take more than a month or two for that particular page to be analyzed daily. This is an excellent reason to consider using a blog as a cornerstone of your internet business. Make sure to include links to your primary product or services site. Then be sure to list it with blog searches and registries.

Incoming linkage

Did you know that inbound links are a major factor in your search engine relavence results? Basically the more activity your site generates, the more attractive it becomes to all manner of virtual insects. So in addition to adding links from your blog, make comments on other people's blogs and leave your link. Get on MySpace or other community sites and do the same. Write articles and use links to your sites in the resource box. They may very well get republished and added to RSS Feeds. Don't forget to issue press releases for your articles as well as your blog.

Be a team player

Get with team members in your upline and have them add links to your sites. Ask them to republish your articles or blog entries. Link to the websites of members on your team. Team co-operation and website interaction help build a strong and successful organization. Rule of thumb is to always link downline to encourage team growth. However, depending on your relationship with team members and how your business is organized this guideline is flexible.

Track your traffic

Find out what works and what doesn't so you can better concentrate your time and effort where it has the most impact on your site traffic. Set up a free Google Analytics account. Not only will you see where your visitors found you link, you will also discover their physical location, computer platform, browser version, screen resolution and other factors affecting successful website design.

Forge a trail to your site

Collect incoming links to your site with a vengeance. Make it a hobby. Leave breadcrumbs all along the internet highway. Someone will take the bait and end up at your site.

It goes without saying that you should make their trip well worth the effort.
